CORONA VIRUS DISEASE-2019 (COVID-19).
Coronaviruses are large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe disease such as Middle East Respiratory syndrome (MERS-Cov).
Common signs and symptoms of this disease includes
· Respiratory symptoms
· Fever
· Cough
· Shortness of breathing
· Difficulty in breathing
· In more severe cases infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure and even DEATH.
PREVENTION OF CORONA VIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19).
Currently there is no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The best way to prevent with this disease is to avoid being exposed to this virus. The virus can spread from one personal to another through contact means from infected personal.by also through respiratory droplets produced when an infected person coughing or sneezing .the droplets can reach in the mouth or nose of a personal who are nearby or possibly be inhaled into the lungs. So to avoid this it’s better to stay away from infected patient at least 6 feet’s.
TAKES STEPS TO PROTECT YOURSELF.
· Clean your hands with soaps regularly.
.wash your hands with soaps and water for 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public gathering ,or after sneezing, coughing ,blowing your nose.
Alternative method if soaps it is not available at the moment you can use a hand sanitizer that contain at least 60% of alcohols (Absolute alcohols example methanol or ethanol etc.).By USING SANITIZER YOU SHOULD COVER ALL SURFACE OF YOUR HANDS AND RUB THEM BY PASSING YOUR FINGER BETWEEN UNTIL THEY FEEL DRY
· Avoid close contact.
Avoid and prevent yourself close contact with infected person or people who are sick.
Stay a distance between you and other people.
TAKES STEPS TO PROTECT OTHERS
· Stay home if you’re sick, except to get medical care.
· During coughs or sneezing cover yourself.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, hanger chief or by using inside of your elbow. Through used tissue in the trash.
Immediately wash your hands with soaps and water for at least 20 seconds. If soaps and water are not available used hand sanitizer that contain at least 60% of alcohol.
· Wear a facemask if you are sick
If you are sick you should wear a recommended face mask when you are surrounding people. Or in a sharing room, vehicle.and before enter the health care provider’s office
IF YOU’RE NOT SICK; YOU SHOULD NOT NEED TO WEAR A FACE MASK UNLESS YOU ARE CARING FOR SOMEONE WHO IS SICK (AND THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO WEAR A FACE MASK)
· Clean and disinfect
Clean and disinfect frequently touches surfaces daily .for example tables, doorknobs, light switch, countertops,handleedesk.phone,keyboard,sinks etc.
To disinfect use common disinfectants by diluting your householdbleach (JIK)
Too make that bleach solution mix 5 tablespoon bleach per gallon of water or 4 table spoon bleach per quart of water
WHAT TO DO IF YOU’RE SICK
Call your health care provider around your area if you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms like coughing, difficultbreathing,increase in temperetutre,muscle pain,headache. Etc.
