We are
currently seeking for a temporary employee to work in the Communication and
Fundraising department and support on event planning and assist on coordination
activities.
The
vacancy is the perfect opportunity for an enthusiastic and confident individual
who wishes to expand upon his/her knowledge across a wide range of skills and
expertise particularly in logistics of events and meetings plan related
activities. The individual will be supervised by the Fundraising and
Communication manager and will be involved in various aspects of events
organization while continue learning and gaining invaluable experience from
existing professional colleagues.
Duties
and Responsibilities
v Be on hand to support the Unit Manager with
planning and logistics
v Assists in the coordination and follow up
based on agreed checklist of events’ plans
v Support event Organizing Committee on
write-up meeting notes and follow-up on agreed actions
v Assists with gathering and packaging the
agreed information for events
v Assists the Unit manager with day to day
liaison roles in and out of the office
v Ensures that merchandise for the events are
ready packed and delivered to identified venues
v Support guests invitation processes,
registration and assist in Ushers roles during events.
v Secure all required IEC and Branding
materials at the end of each event
v Document and assist in writing events’
reports and participants contacts database after the event
v Handing out promotional materials throughout
events (if required)
v Other ad hoc duties as assigned by your
supervisor

Essentials
v Experienced in assisting in events planning
and organization
v Confident with demonstrated communication
skills (written, verbal and interpersonal)
v Previous experience of volunteering or
temporary employment in Communication, support Events coordination or a similar
area of work
v Creativity and ability to work with own
initiatives and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
v A pro-active with “can-do” attitude, even
when working under pressure
v Demonstrated good administrative and IT
skills (including Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel)
v Capable of engaging with and communicating to
audiences of different diversities
v Interested in brand, photographing , social
media & Excellent team player
