DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with Program Manager to ensure overall
planned project activities are implemented timely and outcome focused.
Work closely with program manager to ensure CHWs,
CVs and peer champion are accountable in the manner that ensures all
deliverables are delivered to project target audience with effective and
timely.
Write reports for every activity and share with
program manager timely
Review data from CHWs, Community volunteers and peer
champions report and provide guidance and mentorship
Review and share reports written by CHWs, CVs and
peer champion and share to M&E/ Program manager
Work closely with government authorities and engage
in the project implementation and sharing with them some reports as per
directives and MoU to be signed and Ensure timely preparation of financial
retirement with all necessary source of evidence to be shared with Account with
focus on every incurred expense during project implementation
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by
supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree in Social works, Sociology, Rural Development
or community developments and related degree program from recognized
institutions.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
At least 2 years of experience in managing a
health-based project with a focus on HIV, Reproductive health/Family Planning
(RH/FP), Malaria, Maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) and Tuberculosis
(TB) and other Key Proven knowledge on youth and Gender-based violence.
Proven skills in Gender and women focused rights and
policies
Experienced in implementing the project with a focus
on youth, women, men
Ability to manage the team and meet deadlines which
are results based
Flexibility and ability to copy with
multi-cultural/behavioral practices
Proven records of a good relationship with co-staff,
facilitation, team building and coordination skills will be added advantage
Excellent written and oral communication and
presentation skills in English and Kiswahili
Readiness to work under pressure, ability to work
under minimum supervision and willingness to work overtime for project
prosperity
Computer literacy is highly required ie word, excel,
internet, power point
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by
supervisor.
Ability to work 90% in rural and remote areas
Candidates with motorcycle driving license will have
an added advantage
