Job Description (Roles and Responsibilities)
>Main purpose of job:
The Corporate Services Assistant based in the Corporate Services Team will be responsible and accountable for delivering diligent administrative support services to enhance customer satisfaction specifically in Protocol, Procurement, Reception and visitor handling services.
Roles and responsibilities:
Drive as per schedule – driving staff (all HMG partners represented at Post) to official meetings in Dar es Salaam and elsewhere around Tanzania.
Airport transfer to all new UK – based staff arriving in Dar es Salaam plus on final departure.
Airport journey support for official travel for OneHMG staff.
Delivery of letters/cards – delivering urgent mails to Ministry of Foreign Affairs, other offices and special event cards.
Ensuring all the vehicles are in good condition.
Report on any issue related to vehicles/cycle to the Transport Supervisor
Update vehicle log books
Support on TRA/MFA follow up.
Ensure that passengers comply with vehicle health and safety regulations and sign vehicle log book.
Ensure road safety and traffic regulations are adhered to
Assist when able with administrative functions eg: reception duties, filing, phone calls, e-mails, logging in of invoices, PRISM input and distribution of newspapers.
Clean vehicles as required

Essential qualifications, skills and experience
Certificate in Driving.
3 years’ Experience in Official driving.
Language:English and Swahili.
Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
Computer Skills (Microsoft Office and Outlook)
Strong customer skills.
Desirable qualifications, skills and experience
Ability to be well organised and to communicate well to UK based and local staff colleagues.
