TANROAD: IVITATION FOR TENDERS KIGONGO FERRY MWANZA TANZANIA..
The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania has allocated funds for the operation of the Tanzania
National Roads Agency (TANROADS) during the financial year 2018/19. It is intended that part of the
proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under the contract for the Construction of
Kigongo – Busisi Bridge (3,200m) and its Associated Approach Roads (1.66 Km) Located in Mwanza,
Tender No. AE/001/2018-19/HQ/W/101.
2. Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) an Agency of the Ministry of Works, Transport and
Communication now invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for execution of the Works. The Works consist
of the construction of a new 3,200m bridge consisting of an extra dosed bridge as well as reinforced
concrete beam approach bridges as well as approach roads (1.66km) with their corresponding pavement
layers and ancillary works. The estimated quantities for major items of works are as follows:
