Role
Purpose
The
purpose of this role is to plan, monitor, control and coordinate all activities
associated with projects from start to the end taking in priority of quality
and customer service aspects without jeopardizing Healthy and Safety at work
place.

Responsibilities
You
will be responsible in planning schedules and assign work to your employees
considering work load, staffing distribution and efficiencies to ensure work
frame deadlines and goals are met on time.
You
are expected to coordinate employee efforts, evaluate progress and provide
assistance and direction to increase efficiency.
Reviewed
drawings with the help of architects and engineers matching with your work on
progress.
Monitoring
inventory of needed items and placing orders as required, while keeping the
overall project within budgeting estimates.
Responsible
for tracking inventory and initiating requisitions for needed material or
supplies.
Maintain
highly professional environment among the labourers and staff in terms of
productivity and deadlines.
Will
require conducting evaluations of the employees that are under your direct
supervision.
Send
daily/weekly work time and attendance reports to Human Resource Manager at
8:05am and 17:05 pm on each working day.
Inspect
work in progress to ensure that work conforms to contract specifications and
adheres to established work schedules.
Maintain,
plan, schedule safety meetings for employees on site to ensure enforcement and
compliance of safety standards and procedures are followed.
Report/Fill
in the form of all near misses, incidents, or accidents to SHEQ manager. This
is critical in the improvement of our safety culture.
Work
closely with SHEQ Manager to ensure all Healthy Safety and Environmental
controls are in place in accordance with the law, this includes making sure
that Company Safety Policy is followed at all time, includes giving serious
warning and self- explanation forms, penalty ( RED,GREEN, YELLOW Cards) to all
employees that are not complying with SAFETY FIRST RULE. Insure HSE
Information
Board with all necessary information, site signage’s are present and visible at
all time on your site.
Make
sure that the First Aid Kit with all the contents is always available at your
site.
Refill
the kit on weekly bases and give report to the SHEQ Manager on how it was used.
Academic
qualifications
BSc
in Construction management/Engineering or Equivalent
Registered
with AQRB or CRB
