Community Based Rehabilitation in Tanzania (CCBRT) is a locally registered
organisation first established in 1994. It is the largest indigenous provider
of ophthalmic and rehabilitation services in the country. CCBRT aims to be the
leading provider of accessible specialized health services in Africa and serves
as healthcare social enterprise and through development programmes the
community and the most vulnerable. Committed to preventing lifelong
disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT is also engaged in extensive maternal and
newborn healthcare (MNHC) activities including obstetric fistula repairs and is
currently constructing a Maternity and Newborn Hospital.
In order
to further enhance the developments in the organization, we are looking for an
experienced Infrastructure Support Analyst in our Innovation and Business
Analysis Department

The role
The
Senior Infrastructure Support Analyst is resolving hardware, software and
network problems in a timely and accurate fashion and -under Infrastructure
Team Leader’s direction- is ensuring the stable and secure operation of the
organization’s IT infrastructure. This role includes planning, designing,
maintaining and execution of the network infrastructure, server infrastructure,
data communications, backup strategies and telecommunications systems.
As part
of the Innovative & Business Analysis department, the analyst actively
participates in PDCA problem solving and daily huddles, ensures timely
preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly reports and participates
actively in cross functional project teams to provide the best and innovative
solutions to the needs of the clients.
The
candidate
Minimal a Bachelor degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Qualifications in CISCO, Linux Server management is required
Qualification in ITIL and Microsoft Server administration e.g. MCSA, MCSE, MCP
is desired
Proven
experience in using basic software applications such as Microsoft OS (XP,
Vista, 7) and Microsoft Office
Solid
experience and knowledge of networking protocols, security standards,
troubleshooting and support fundamentals
3-4
years’ experience with troubleshooting and resolving server and network issues
in a Microsoft and Linux environment as well as strong experience with
troubleshooting Windows Server 2008 and 2012 (Active Directory, Group Policy
Management, DNS, WINS, and DHCP) and in troubleshooting firewalls and VPN
connections 3-4 years’ working with Tier 1 and 2 support staff administrators
Experience in a similar working environment as CCBRT would be an added
advantage
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal(in English), Fluent in
Kiswahili is desired
An

and a strong work ethic
Must
be an innovative, self-motivated and persistent problem solver with careful
attention for detail
Professionalism is a must with the ability to foster and develop customer
loyalty
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure and in a fast-paced
environment with unpredictable and variable workload and tight deadlines.
