Job Summary
This position is responsible for guiding and
directing the overall provisions of Human Resources services, policies, and
programs for the entire company. Specifically this position oversees and
directs all recruiting, employee relation
s, benefits administration, change management and
training programs; and corporate compliance. In addition, he/she is responsible
for implementing, enforcing and administering Tanzania Labour laws and
employment regulations as well as corporate policies and procedures
Essential duties and responsibilities
Responsible for implementing, enforcing and
administering labour relations and employment Regulations as well as corporate
policies and procedures.
Manage core Performance Management and feedback
processes.
Develop CSR activity plans; training plans and
programs; organize training sessions, workshops and activities.
Provide recruiting and hiring support by
developing recruitment plans and implementing activities such as internal
communication, placement of ads; reviewing resumes, conducting screening
interviews, administer evaluations, and reference/ background checks.
Perform all functions of reporting, Payroll and
Records Management.
Develop staff orientation programs.
Administration of all corporate and employee
benefits and services.
Oversee and Implement all corporate legal
affairs/issues.
Ensure and maintain the complete corporate
compliance to the laws and regulations of the Country.
Academic qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human resources, Business
Administration or other related field
Professional of Human Resources Certification
(PHR) is an added advantage
Work experience & skills
Five (5) +years’ experience of strategic Human
Resource leadership experience with recent experience supporting middle-sized
growing organizations.
Strong working knowledge of Tanzania labour
employment regulations.
Demonstrated success in all Human Resources
functional areas.
Must be hands-on and capable of producing work
with limited support staff.
Must be results-oriented and demonstrate strategic
thinking, innovation, flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous
situations..
Must maintain an open line of communication with
all staffs and interfaces regularly with other departments.
