SALES OFFICERS
Description
Our company is looking for persons to fill the positions of
sales officers cum Bajaji drivers who meets the following requirements;
Holder of at least Form VI secondary education, Diploma or
degree in sales and marketing, Business Administration or related fields
Experience in sales position of at least 1 year
Must have driving license enabling him to drive Bajaji
Must have passed Form IV Mathematics Exam with at least D
Pass
Good communications skills in English and Swahili
Good customer care
Job Responsibilities
• Identifying prospective clients, generating business from
new accounts & developing them to achieve consistent profitability.
• Identifying the unexplored areas of business and trying
techniques to explore the same and bring profit out of it.
• Managing Sales and distributor across market. Forecast –
preparation of detailed sales of market.
• Providing complete assistance to the outlets/ dealers,
channel Management (Distributors, Dealers , Retailers, Product Placement)
• Ensuring faster TAT to the Dealers/ Retailers for their
requirements to ensure satisfaction, particularly in issues pertaining to
customer service, marketing and logistics.
• Identifying distribution gaps and plan new
distributors/retailer’s appointment for expanding the channel network.
• Monitor performance of distributor/ retailer and take
corrective actions.
• Quarterly reconciliation of distributor/ retailer;
• Tracking of Market / Channel Inventory segment wise.
• Share information of stock movement and order requirement
with the distributor / retailer replenishment at the retail counters.
• Share product, price and schemes with distributors and
retailers on a timely basis.
• Inventory and stock management (stock planning,
liquidation of edging and discounted stock)
• Scheme management (ensuring timely processing of schemes,
PD, Supports to channel)
• Visual Merchandising – Effectively plan and execute BTL
activities, product display support, POSM distribution & display, FISD
placement & education to meet market requirement.
• Liaison with the concerned marketing personnel to plan
and implement advertisement & BTL activities at respective area level with
a view to drive sales as per the business plan.
• Plan a marketing calendar at the beginning of the month
and recommend innovative marketing strategies for secondary and tertiary sales.
• Random check of the quality of promoter &
productivity.
• Track performance of KRO’s against targets set In the
beginning of the month.
• Market Intelligence – Gather market data and share with
Corporate for future product portfolio/ requirement, competitive liquidation
schemes and marketing engagements.
• Ensure clearance of all stocks, pending for deliveries at
the earliest.
• Adherence of Plan (PJP) strictly.
• Review their targets & performance of the team on
weekly basis.
