URC seeks qualified candidates to support the anticipated USAID-funded Tanzania Multi-sectoral Nutrition (MSN) activity. The purpose of the Tanzania Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Activity is to intensify and integrate nutrition support to targeted regions to improve the nutritional status of women of reproductive age, especially pregnant and lactating women, adolescents, and children under five. The project will achieve this through a) Strengthened multi-sectoral coordination for improved nutrition at the local government level; b) Improved health, nutrition, caregiving, and WASH behaviors; and c) Increased access and availability of diverse, safe, and nutritious foods.

Qualifications
• Bachelors degree; Masters degree in nutrition, public health, agriculture, marketing, economics international development or related field preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ professional experience; prior experience with USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred
• Excellent communication skills and strong inter-personal skills
• Ability to work independently and with team members and partners at all levels
• Work experience with local and international partners in Tanzania, including both private and public partners
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Tanzania nationals strongly encouraged to apply
