CALL FOR JOB BENJAMIN MKAPA FOUNDATION
The Benjamin William Mkapa foundation (BMF) is a Trust and a nonprofit organization which was established in 2006 with the aim of augmenting the Government of Tanzania efforts in the fight against the HIV and AIDS pandemic.
Our Objectives:
Enhancing the delivery of quality HIV and AIDS care, treatment and other related service including reproductive and maternal health in Tanzania.
To offer training and education, formal and non-formal, to Tanzanians for the purpose of increasing technical efficiency.
To promote national and international policies and strategies aiming at alleviating HIV/AIDS and related illnesses, addressing human resource for health (HRH) challenges and other health related matters.
To work in collaboration with local or international institutions in furthering the objectives of the trust.
To implement initiatives focusing on preventing and control of HIV and AIDS, tuberculosis, sexual transmitted infections (STIs) and family planning education for both rural and urban communities.
To involve people living with HIV and AIDS in community education and the fight against AIDS.
To mobilize, receive and administer funds and other resources from stakeholders to achieve the objectives of the Foundation.
To promote and strengthen cooperation between local and international stakeholders.
