Job Description
National Clinic Manager (NCM) will oversee clinical care and treatment services throughout company’s network. She/he will lead a teams of clinical staff in the regions to ensure delivery of comprehensive Clinical care and treatment services. The NCM reports to the Head of Programs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Directly supervises regional clinical teams to ensure company’s proprietary Trust Health and Wellness Clinics provide quality, non-judgmental care and meet KPIs
• Coordinate and support implementation and clinical services in the regions through clinical franchises and franchise programs
• Effectively collaborate with the regional teams to ensure annual plans and budgets are developed based on regional and grant-specific priorities
• Coordinate training as needed for staff and franchise partners
• Provide support of company’s training initiatives as requested and required
• Generate supportive supervision reports of clinical staff; provide feedback and recommendations regarding staff and facilities
• Mobilize program resources to respond to gaps identified by supportive supervision activities
• Monitor and evaluate services, incorporating data into program development
• Ensure Trust Health and Wellness Clinics and franchises are meeting grant deliverables in regard to family planning, cPAC, number of clients and clinic sustainability
• Provide an ongoing programmatic, management, and financial oversight of clinical activities
• Ensure financial and clinical reporting integrity
• Ensure clinics remain compliant and that facilities, service delivery, clinical policies, and staff management are in-line with government regulations, policies, and expectations
• Ensure clinical service data is well documented, compiled and reported based on the MOHSW and donor reporting schedules
• Develop relationships either directly or through direct reports, with relevant regional government and partners
• Work with regional teams to identify marketing, infrastructure and human resource needs for the implementation of service delivery
• Ensure all facilitates, equipment care and upkeep meet the highest standards
• Set clinical prices and create clinical packages as needed
• Interface with Insurance companies regarding coverage of staff
• Organize promotions to provide critical services to the community
• Any and all other tasks assigned by management
The NCM may be given other assignments by the Senior Management team as necessary which may fall outside of the prevue of this job description, which she/he is still excepted to accomplish.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Doctor or experienced Nurse/Midwife
• Masters in Public Health or equivalent desirable
• Certified Government Trainer in cPac and/or Family planning is desirable
• At least 5 years of experience in family planning and reproductive health, including cPAC services
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills
• Track record of data driven decision making
• Program Management experience desired
• Experience working with Donor funded programs desirable
• Ability to travel at least 60% of the time within the region
• Clear understanding of Tanzanian health system structure.
• Diplomatic and culturally sensitive with excellent communications skills
• Demonstrated initiative, creativity and flexibility in problem solving
• Fluent in oral and written English
