Medical Centre is a Zonal Super Specialized hospital under the Goverment No.803
of 2010 which exist to provide care,consultancy,research and training in health
guided by the goverment policy,church ethics and morals. It has 910 beds and
over 1200 employees. It is a referral centre for tertiary specialist care for
eight regions, namely: – Mwanza, Geita, Simiyu, Mara, Kagera, Shinyanga, Tabora
and Kigoma. It serves a catchment’s population of over 17 million people.
Bugando Medical Centre is therefore inviting suitably Tanzanians to fill the
following vacancies;-
Intensivist
– 1 Post
Qualifications:
Must
hold a Master of Medicine (MMed) in Anesthesiology/General Surgery or Internal
Medicine from a Tanzania Commission of Universities (TCU) recognized university
with n training in Intensive care. Must be registered with Medical Council of
Tanganyika as a Medical Practitioner.
Duties
and Responsibilities
Carrying out specialized medical care in the field of Intensive care.
Teaching and supervising medical students and postgraduate students including
setting exams.
Conducting medical researches and consultancies
Conduct outreach services.
Assist in Formulation of SOP in the respective department/section/units.
Strategic duties for the development of medical services.
Attending emergency duties.
Participating fully in morning clinical sessions, patient presentation and
journal clubs
Salary
Scale: PMGSS.13
Age
Limit :Not above 45 years of age
