Job
Title: Nutrition Project Coordinator
ROLE
PURPOSE: The Nutrition Project Coordinator will work as part of an
interdisciplinary team, under the guidance of the Senior Programme Manager. The
Nutrition Project Coordinator will be based in Dodoma and will be responsible
for the health and nutrition aspects of the project’s objective to improve
access to and use of nutritious foods. She/he will focus primarily on maternal
child health and nutrition (MCHN), targeting the first 1,000 days, with the
pregnant and lactating women and children under the age of five as the primary
beneficiaries.
She/he
will be responsible for the selection of civil society organization (CSO)
partners; the formation and training of Care Groups; and working with technical
advisors to develop materials needed for Care Group and SBCC activities.
The
Nutrition Project Coordinator will also work with Agriculture Project
Coordinator to provide technical input for diversified household food
production and consumption and nutrition-sensitive agriculture extension
materials and activities. He/she will be responsible for ensuring high quality
project implementation, monitoring and reporting.

Title: Singida-Dodoma Senior Programme Manager
ROLE
PURPOSE:
The
Dodoma and Singida Senior Programme Manager will provide strategic project
management and high level operational leadership to implement a solid approach
to achieving measurable results by strengthening the institutional capacity of
government and local CSOs working at the regional, district and community
levels to develop, implement, monitor and sustain a government led
multi-sectoral nutrition and the ongoing Boresha Lishe project funded by WFP
and upcoming health programs.
S/he
will also work closely to support the government of Tanzania and local NGOs
working at the district to ensure mutual accountability as per WFP/SCI
agreement. The Senior Programme Manager is accountable for providing management
and oversight of the implementation of all the awards in Singida/Dodoma regions
and ensure LGAs are committed as per the MOUs signed with SC.
S/he
will represent and advocate for Save the Children’s work and organizational
priorities with a wide range of external parties including government
representatives, communities, donors, UN and other development agencies
operating in the area. The incumbent will be required to provide oversight and
management to over 15 staff
