Head of Products – Zantel (Grade 13)

Job Country: Tanzania

JOB PURPOSE

The Head of Products is responsible for managing the life cycle of products and services under his/her responsibility; contributing to meet revenues and financial targets, usage penetration, and consumer satisfaction goals.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall performance of his/her products and services, including penetration, financial results, and user satisfaction.

• Definition and implementation of commercialization and marketing strategies.

• Products and services releases and evolution, including preparation of a product/process improvement briefs.

• KPIs monitoring of assigned products and services, and timely reports to management.

• Consumer understanding.

• Cross-functional cooperation and communication with other categories in order to achieve time to market effectiveness and organizational efficiency.

• Ensure that all processes are aligned with products best practices and corporate policies.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in marketing, communication, engineering and/or business administration.

• Preferably an MBA or Master’s Degree

• Conversational English is desired.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 5+ years of proven product management experience.

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams.

• Substantial knowledge of WEB, Publishing, and Mobile trends & technology.
